Dude's sire(Ara) comes from a well established and influential line of champions. Ara's sire Ch Windermere's Sunshine of Bonnie Blu CDX is (1976 ASCA national specialty BOB winner) a Hall of Fame sire as is Ara's granddad Ch Wildhagen's Dutchman of Flintridge "Dusty" (ASCA's first recorded conformation champion). Including Dude, there are four generations of Hall of Fame sires.
In
total, Ara has sired 17 AKC champions and 71 ASCA champions(some are
dual champions) with four achieving ASCA Hall of Fame status (Ch
Brigadoon's One Arrogant Dude, OTCH Starswept's Gala Affair UDX, Ch
Starswept's Absolute Arrogance STDcd, and Ch Tri-Ivory Roquefort of
Higgins CD).
Ara has also sired two ASCA National Specialty Best
of Breed winners (Ch Tri-Ivory Roquefort of Higgins CD - 1985 &
1988, Ch Gingerbread's Oh So Arrogant - 1989).
